Our cells feature rotation with barrel or belt tilters, so the door is correctly presented for spraying on one or both sides. The tilter can be integrated with a Cartesian robot, which automatically recognizes the shape and works in sync with the rotating system to maintain cadence and precision.
Yes: the cell architecture (Planet + Rover cab) allows pre-loading onto the rotating carriage before painting and reloading the same door onto the same carriage after the cycle. This way, the operator only handles the carriages, reducing handling of the fresh workpiece.
Loading and unloading are synchronized: the robot works in position 2 while the rotating carriage is loaded in position 1, avoiding downtime. Return/transfer modules can be added downstream to connect the booth to racks or a storage area.
The door finishing preparation cycle can include brushing the surfaces and edges and dusting to remove any residue. This improves adhesion and finish. Versions for door surfaces, profiles, and edges are available, even with smaller units.
