Overturner of panels with suction cups

Up-set-V-PA is a tipper for panels with suction cups. On this machine, during the overturning movement the piece is moved laterally with respect to the incoming line. It can overturn single pieces or stacked and is mainly suitable for big and heavy panels. The machine receives the panel (or stack of panels) on the infeed rollerway, aligns the panel against the possible reference stop and picks it up (from above or below according to the system layout) by means of motorized rotating arms holding suckers, which rotate the panel on the opposite side, overturn and place it either on another surface (fix or motorized) or onto a lifting unloading platform, etc. Up-set-V-PA is generally used for the overturning of panels on finishing lines, painting lines and whenever the processing on both sides is required.

Panel turner

Up-set-C-PA is a tipper for panels moving crosswise; a special support structure supported on 2 pins up to the 2 ends contains 2 overlapping belt conveyors, one of which is equipped with panel locks. This machine is able to overturn single panels or panels stack (in the same pack) on the same axis of the incoming line. The machine can receive them in horizontal position, align them longitudinally and advance on the same arrival line. It tilts the panel forward or backward, rotating around its own support axis, with support on its own transfer or locking-off sheet. After the panel’s placement on the support structure, the tipping of panels on painting line is done either clockwise or counter, according to the needs of the line. Up-set-C-PA is generally used for tipping panels on painting lines and those in CNC or processing lines where it is necessary processing of both sides of panels. The tilter can be used as a simple transfer, turning off the tilting function.

Overturner for panels with forks

Up-set-F-PA is a tipper for panels equipped with forks. On this machine, during the overturning movement the piece being placed against the edge, moves laterally respect to the incoming line. It can overturn single panels only, and is mainly suitable for larger and medium-sized panels. The machine receives the panel on the infeed roller conveyor, picks it up and overturns it by means of 2 pairs of arms, usually pneumatically controlled, placing the panel on the side next to the infeed rollerway. Up-set F-PA is generally used to overturn panels on finishing and CNC lines, and whenever the processing on both sides is required.

Up-set-B-PA is a barrel tipper, so named for its shape and its operation: one rotating structure of two parallel rings, contains 2 overlapping roller conveyors, one of which is equipped with locking devices. This machine is able to overturn single panels or panel stack on the same axis of the incoming line. In the same manner that a single panel or the same panel ones move forward in and on the same line, the object (panel or composition) is received horizontally, aligned and moves in the same direction. It is overturned forward or backward on its own support or transport group and blocking sheet. After the combing operation, panel is tipped forward or backward around its own axis of the rotating structure. Up-set-B-PA is generally used for tipping panels on painting lines, but it is suitable for other uses too. The tilter can be used as a simple transfer, turning off the function of tipping.

Barrel overturner for panel stacks

Up-set-B-PI is a “barrel tipper”, so defined, for its shape and operation; it is made with a structure rotating on two parallel rings, containing two overlapped rollerways, one of which is vertically movable and equipped with a special comb to support the stack laterally. The stack of panels is entered into the overturner and placed in the middle lengthwise of its own inner rollerway: a lateral support comb gets close to the side of the stack and the rotation will start; the stack is against the lateral comb. After overturning the stack and opening of the comb, the pile is against the opposite rollerway, which is now placed below and ready to be removed from the tipper (the different phases can be more or less automated according to the necessary applications being required). Up-set-B-PI is generally used for overturning of stacks on painting or drilling lines when high productivity is required such as when pieces can’t be turned singly during the processing.

Star Panel Turner

Up-set-S-PA is a turner that uses two or more rotating elements with pockets to turn the panels. These elements pick up the panel from the infeed station, gradually rotate it up to 180°, and then deposit it on the outfeed station. The number of pockets can be varied based on the size of the piece and the desired productivity. Up-set-S-PA is generally used when the customer needs to perform many cycles, such as in a panel production line.
